Description

The bitterness burns
Oh how I yearn
Scalding... Haunting...

Oh, can you feel it burn?

Everything's so meaningless
All the world's full of emptiness
Life exists only there in my dreams

Now I stand here
Wishing you'd somehow return to my arms
But the silence brings me back

I must move ahead
Even though you're gone
Even though fate's thrown me into a world full of grey!

God I wish I had time to give this piece more explanation and a full set of backgrounds. It's probably confusing as hell for those of you who have not played any Phoenix Wright. For those who are not, ponified characters from left to right:
Mia Fey, Diego Armando, Prosecutor Godot
My interpretation of the theme was Godot, after the final trial, pondering his own inability to move on up til that point.

:icongodotplz:

I had originally intended to add another panel to kind of close the gap between the two story-wise, but with no real explicit references for either Mia Fey or Diego Armando/Godot, it took a long time to just get this done. Even though it looks simple, it took me a good five hours at least of drawing and redrawing to get it to look anywhere near right.

I do want to explicitly thank [link] for his excellent Pony Godot which helped in drawing Diego immensely.

I hope at least a few of you who've played the games can appreciate this! I put a lot of heart and soul into it as Godot and Mia are some of my favorite game characters OF ALL TIME.

Again, long description is long.
Hope you like!

I think this turned out great, especially the Godot pony. And I know how you feel trying to do the characters justice and make them look right. Great job. Also, Godot is best prosecutor.
