Ok so I cheated a bit today. I included the word "waffle," Therefore I met the prompt! Hey, it's the first thing that came to mind when I saw "Draw a pony waffling."
Yes, It's directly from the show. There are a few reasons:
1. I'm lazy today.
2. I thought it would be a challenge to fill in the legs on my own without much use of a reference, as the screen-cap does not show legs. (yes that's why the legs look bad) An attempt to ween off of reference images.
3. Pony armor. It's new, and awesome, and believe it or not hard to get anywhere near right..
4. I wanted to apologize to Dashie for Day 7's terrible rendition of her. And I still got her legs wrong. I'm so sorry Dashie!
Thinking about trying my hand at vectoring these things to make them purty. Those of you who vector, how hard is it/how long does it usually take?

I'm afraid I haven't seen The Gamers 2: Dorkness Rising. I'll try to watch it now, though.
I think EQD likes it when you get creative with the prompts
Considering you're used to using reference images for the legs and didn't this time, I think they are pretty good. I should really use reference images less, but I find myself using them for certain things.
I've never tried pony armor, but I don't doubt it's difficult.
While Rainbow Dash might not be perfect, she's definitely been improved from Day 7
